And yet the habit and routines in your daily life are probably working to slowly destroy your good health. We are all under stress of some kind. We all rush through life grabbing a quick, fast food meal. We end the day in an exhusted heap unable to exercise as we should.
Stop That!
It's time to cross over to the first step on your road to tip top health. That first step is a diet low in carbohydrates - a low carb diet you can love! In the pages of this Web site we will show you exactly how you can do it and still eat most all the things you love.
The National Academy of Sciences recently published dietary recommendations that explained that adults should obtain 45 to 65 percent of their calories from carbohydrates, 20 to 35 percent from fat and 10 to 35 percent from protein.
For many folks, a low-fat, high-carbohydrate diet helps them lose weight. Of course, that doesn't work for everyone. Some want to increase low-saturated-fat protein foods and healthy unsaturated fats, while cutting down on total carbohydrates by eliminating refined starches and simple sugars.
The only right way to eat is the healthy way and there you have many choices and low carb eating is one of the most effective ones.. All of them start with finding healthy foods that taste good... and there are plenty of those.
You can design meals around carbohydrates, proteins and fats without going to the extreme level of a low-carbohydrate diet.
Just ease into your exciting, new healthy lifestyle:
Reduce your intake of calories from sugar and foods made with white flour.
Enjoy lots of whole grains, fruits, vegetables and beans.
If you will just do that you will find that you lose 1 to 2 pounds each week and begin building your healthy new lifestyle. It's really easy once you set your mind to it and do a little planning.
And that's where LowCarbRescue.com comes in. Over on the right hand margin of this page, and all others, you will see the word "Articles".
