Benefits of a Low Carb Diet - 8 Tips to Melting Fat
Why Low Carb Eating? Because It Works Every Time!
Fad diets come and go and most have gotten a bad rap for being nothing more than, well… fads.
But then there is the low-carb diet. Why is this diet any different than the others?
Try this answer on for size: it works.
Low-carb diets have gotten a bad rap for a few reasons and it is easy to see why. People cannot
believe that losing weight can be as simple as just removing something from their diet. It somehow defies the same logic we normally base our
lives around.
If there is a rock in my shoe and it hurts my foot when I walk, would I not just remove that
rock and continue to walk comfortably? A rough analogy none the less, would you continue being overweight if I said you could simply remove
something from your diet and begin to live more comfortably and healthy? I think you get the idea.
A low-carb diet has a variety of benefits to offer those smart enough to take the plunge. Here
are a few tips to get started losing weight with a low-carb diet.
1.) Avoid sugar, flour and corn syrup.
2.) Keep hydrated with plenty of water. Minimum of 64 ounces a day.
3.) Exercise to help burn calories and to gradually help boost metabolism. You do NOT have
to run yourself to death on a treadmill but push it as far as you can while staying comfortable, burning calories and breaking a sweat.
4.) Fight through the carb-withdrawal. The first 4-6 days can be difficult. Your body will
challenge you with headaches, fatigue, nausea and more. Eat a lot of meat, cheeses and eggs and drink plenty of water, it WILL pass.
5.) Eat when you are hungry, not when you are bored. Not only does this save you money but
it is part of the diet! Follow this!
6.) If you experience cramps from lack of potassium (due to water being flushed out of your
system) you can find cheap potassium supplements to take that will help.
7.) Do not stress. You will not get anywhere with your low-carb diet unless you are
consistent, but do not stress little things or blow anything out of proportion with your dieting. For example, do not starve yourself, hop on a
treadmill for 4 hours and chug 3 gallons of water. People die doing stupid things like that. Be safe and consistent and you will see results.
Now that you have some tips to get started on your weight loss diet how about we take a look at
some of the benefits of a low-carb diet. Low-carb dieting can turn your body into a fat-demolishing powerhouse, turn your fat into pure energy to
strive off of through ketosis, and rid you of empty and poor calories that were not healthy for you in the first place.
